Introduction

Founded in June 2025 by Kristopher Medlin in Manteca, California, Excel Pets began as a solo venture with a mission to deliver premium, trustworthy pet supplies to devoted owners across the region. Driven by Kristopher’s passion for animal wellness and a hands-on approach to every aspect of the business—from product curation to customer support—Excel Pets quickly set itself apart with a focus on quality, personal service, and community partnerships.

In the early months, Excel Pets gained traction by joining the Ripon Chamber of Commerce, partnering with local shelters like Tracy Animal Shelter, and sponsoring events such as The Fast and The Furriest 2 Mile Fun Run. These connections, along with a strong online presence and a curated product lineup, helped build trust and awareness among pet owners seeking something beyond the big-box experience. Today, Excel Pets continues to grow—one happy customer at a time—while staying true to its roots: authentic care, exceptional products, and a commitment to making every pet’s life better.

Our core values

Start by defining the key values that best represent your company's mission and culture. Think about what drives your business forward, how your team interacts, and what principles guide decision-making.

How does this value shape your company's approach to products, services, internal culture, or decision-making? Consider how it impacts relationships with customers, employees, partners, or other key stakeholders.

Describe the tangible ways each value is demonstrated within your organization. Give examples of how employees are encouraged to embody this value, whether through specific processes, behaviors, or initiatives.
